Northbridge have been engaged to source a Senior Financial Analyst for a global tier 1 construction and property organisation. 
This position will be supporting a project on a 6 week contract, seeking candidates for an immediate start.

  • Working from home 
  • $60 per hour including super 
About the role:
  • Contribute to the financial transactions and/or management reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results to ensure compliance with approved accounting standards.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase networks and allow for exchange of information.
  • Month end management duties (pre and post month end close) including checking ledgers and calculating and posting monthly journals for COGS and accruals.
  • Rolling and updating the Project Commercial Assessment (CA) with actuals each month as well as assisting with updating forecasts.
  • Updating TM1 with latest cost budgets and financial forecasts as required.
  • Liaising with Finance Services on any reconciliation issues and fixes.
  • Working with applicable team members including Contract Administrators  to ensure all invoicing and billing is completed each month
  • Liaising with External Conveyancer on any settlement issue
Required: 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce with a major or sub major in Accounting and/or Finance, combined with a demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge.(or equivalent skills and knowledge).
  • Experience in an accountant role, and/or sound commercial acumen and understanding of general and transactional accounting, cost accounting and reporting.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with moderate complexity and guide others in the resolution of problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation. 
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Excel skills and knowledge of Oracle and TM1.
