Property Consultant

Northbridge Recruitment is looking for a talented Property Consultant to work with one of our largest clients who are a Tier 1 company in Australia. It is a 12 month contract.

Accountabilities:
  • Engage with Property and SAED stakeholders requiring infrastructure support to diagnose common network and hardware problems.
  • Apply specialised knowledge within established parameters to resolve issues, escalating more specialist issues to senior staff as appropriate.
  • Perform on-going maintenance of the network and accompanying infrastructure by applying established Company procedures.
  • Monitor network and system performance to maintain system integrity and identify potential network issues, taking corrective action or escalating larger issues outside defined parameters to senior staff as appropriate.
  • Typically updates, maintains and enhances Company network and system logs with incidents which arise, to support and maintain network policies and processes and contribute to continual process improvements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of a broad spectrum of infrastructure and networking components such as servers and hubs.
  • Maintenance methodologies to identify a variety of possible solutions and to ensure proposed solutions for the Company are in line with industry Best Practice
Attributes:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology, combined with a demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge.
  • May have experience and/or basic knowledge of a service desk environment, and PC network concepts and terminology.
  • Computing skills and knowledge of standard network hardware and software, combined with knowledge of networking components such as servers, cabling and routers.
  • Communication skills, both oral and written; including the ability to interface with a variety of technical and business personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Competencies include; Interpersonal Ability, Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking, Technology and Process, Verbal Communication.
Requirements:
  • Applies intermediate knowledge in a specialist stream (job category) and advanced knowledge of several operational practices, to issues of differing complexity (routine to varied), where problem-solving can be required on difficult problems.
  • Exercises independent judgement within defined practices and procedures.
  • May instruct or coach others, direct projects or assignments.
  • Contributes to the provision of Property related  skilled technical assistance and support in network and infrastructure troubleshooting, maintaining and monitoring to support uninterrupted operations of the network to ensure Company data integrity and system reliability.

Contract: 12 months (from the start date)
Pay rate: $500/day super inclusive
