Northbridge Recruitment is looking for a multiple of driven and talented IT Project Coordinator to work within the NSW State Government on an initial 6-month contract that has a potential to extend.

Primary purpose of the role

The Deployment Coordinator will support the Project Manager in the successful delivery of a large IT infrastructure rollout project. The successful candidate would ideally have experience in vendor management, master scheduling, previous experiences in IT deployment especially with hardware and devices.

Key accountabilities
· Coordinate and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost, risk and quality metrics are in line with approved parameters.
· Maintain schedule and other tracking systems relating to the delivery of a defined cluster of sites.
· Ensure policies and processes related to purchasing are followed with appropriate rigor, and in line with Departmental guidelines.
· Proactively identify opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness across the project.

Essential requirements
The program team is seeking candidates with the following experience and attributes.
· Previous experience working within private sector as well as government
· Self-motivated individual that actively takes the initiative with an ability to work autonomously
· Effective problem solver with a mix of analytical and creative thinking
· Experience maintaining project artefacts, i.e. schedules in MS Project
· Experience working on large scale IT equipment refresh or rollout programs
· Advanced Microsoft O365 skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
