Northbridge Recruitment is looking for a skilled and experienced Program or Project Administrator to join the NSW Government for a contract with the potential to extend.

Contingent worker in the Water Utilities Policy team to support the management of significant projects, including the:
  • Local Water Utilities Secure Yield Analysis and Climate Change project (Preparation of Guidelines for assessment of Town Water secure yield)
  • Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM) planning (assisting utilities to prepare IWCM plan including secure yield analysis).
A contingent worker is required to resource the management of these complex projects in a collaborative manner.
These projects require an understanding of urban water management, particularly understanding of secure water yield analysis of town water systems considering climate change and variability.
Required capabilities
The critical capabilities required by the contingent worker are:
  • Experience/high level of skills in managing all aspects of projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing procurement, contracts and budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established agency project management policies and processes.
  • Experience/high level of skills in establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, including with technical experts, through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Experience/high level of skills in ensuring compliance with, governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key project/s milestones and outcomes.
  • Experience/knowledge in the water utility sector including water security issues.
  • A desirable capability would be experience/knowledge in water security and climate variability and change analysis.
