Northbridge have been engaged to source a Procurement Supplier Management Lead within a leading Government Organisation.
This is a newly created created senior leadership role supporting the Supplier Management and ICT Procurement team

The role holder will be accountable for establishing and implementing an overall framework for partner/supplier management that governs and influences the management of all suppliers across the organization which reduces risk, improve commercial outcomes, tracks and enhances supplier performance.

Key Accountabilities
  • Primary responsibility for implementation of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Framework and the rollout for all strategic suppliers.
  • Identification and segmentation of the SRM key partnerships (working with Category Leads) across the business requiring commercial and partner management and creating an organisation capable of executing the right commercial strategies and behaviours to reduce risk and achieve value over and above the contract
  • Provide leadership and expertise for Supplier Relationship and Contract Managers within Category Teams
  • Operating as a central point of escalation for issue resolution with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide centralised oversight and ongoing governance for all key supplier relationship
To be successful 
  • Tertiary Qualified / Preferably undergraduate degree in Law, Commerce, with Procurement disciplines, highly desirable
  • Knowledge and hands on experience implementing all aspects of the end to end supply chain and procurement lifecycle – including category strategy and management, source to contract market activities, negotiation and execution, contractual/deal expertise, performance management risk management processes.
  • Excellent written, analytical and verbal skills to communicate with vendors, internal stakeholders, senior management and customers
  • Proactively takes ownership and acts with integrity to deliver required results
