One of the most esteemed and rapidly-expanding Australian firms is seeking a Project Officer to support a tight-knit program team. This is initially a 6 month contract but is highly likely to extend multiple times.

If you are an enthusiastic Program Officer seeking a new contract involving more exciting work, within a busy environment, then this could be the role for you!

Who You Are:

You will be a highly-motivated Project Officer/Admin with excellent relationship building skills coupled with solid experience assisting across programs with monitoring project finances, following up invoices and supporting the program communication plans.

Ideally, you have at least two years experience in project/program administration, with experience managing and confidence in liaising with professionals of various levels including executives, managers and subject matter experts.

What you'll be doing:

The main focus of this role is to assist the project team with scheduling, finances and project administration. You will be reporting to a Project Manager and working to assist the team with tracking invoices, documenting project costs conferences, IT requests, staff on-boarding, access tasks and record management.  

Requirements / Skills
  • A background supporting across programs and projects
  • Minimum 2 years experience in project administrative positions
  • Experience working across program communications
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Highly motivated
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience in MS tools, ideally MS Project
  • Some understanding of project management methodologies
  • Experience in following up project finances, 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong experience in scheduling and bookings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Process orientated

There will be travel to Cooma approx. 2-3 days per week
