We are on the look out for Instructional Designers for the largest Government Department located in Sydney NSW.
Must have experience working the VET sector in an RTO conducting learning design work i.e developing learning and assessment for units of competency with qualifications – the project you would be working on requires to develop learning and assessment for AQF qualifications so must have done this type of work before
Must have experience using eLearning authoring tools and proficient at these tools – we had some candidates that don’t have any experience developing eLearning and the online components of the project are quite significant so we need designers who are strong in the development of online learning and assessment
Experience must primarily by as a learning/instructional designer at least the last 5 years in a learning/instructional design position – we had quite a few applicants who are technical writers not learning/instructional designers
Primary purpose of the role The Instructional Designer provides professional and consultative services in the continuous educational improvementof the training and development resources by researching, designing, developing and monitoring curricula and programs within a quality assured framework, to ensure that transport staff have the competencies necessary to undertake their work in a skilled, safe and effective manner.
Essential requirements
Certificate IV in TAE and a minimum of 2 years instructional design experience.
Tertiary qualifications in Adult Education, Instructional Design or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Adept experience in using Instructional Design authoring tools and Microsoft Office software
