You may be a recent graduate or junior sales professional with call centre or telesales experience.
The successful candidate will be a target driven self-starter with the ability to spend large quantities of time cold calling new clients from a procured list and setting appointments.
As an Business Acquisition / Inside Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:
- Generation of leads and sales opportunities through regular cold calling
- Meeting targets set forth for lead generation and nurturing, documenting the sales cycle and following up with appropriate contacts in order to maintain customer contact and develop leads
- Actively contributing to sales revenue generation and work with business development managers to determine priorities, territories, and needs
- Cold Calling / Appointment Setting experience > 100 cold calls per working block
- Solid communication and negotiation skills over the phone
- Ability to engage all levels of management and actively contribute in weekly sales meetings
- Strong team player who is a good cultural fit to the team
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems
- Finance / Business background
- Strong organisation and sales experience
- Task oriented and results driven
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or communications preferred but not essential
