Enterprise Solutions Architect

e are currently recruiting for an Enterprise Solutions Architect to join a financial services company based in Melbourne. The position will be responsible for establishing, developing, leading the overall enterprise architecture discipline; building a holistic view of the organisation's processes, systems and information, aligning them with the strategic goals.

The successful candidate will be someone has an agile mindset and is pro-active in balancing current and new architecture in the context of competing business demands. You will be technically astute across multiple disciplines & aware of technology horizon, actively maintaining awareness of new industry advancements, particularly with a ‘cloud first’ focus.  

Selected responsibilities:
  • Establish, lead and grow the Enterprise Architecture practice
  • Engage and lead discussions and workshops between business areas as well as IT, building and maintaining key relationships across the business, maintaining awareness of strategic vision
  • Produce and maintain high quality artefacts, which align to business requirements, includes technical designs/models, topology diagrams, frameworks & procedures
  • Actively participate in the planning, preparation and delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • 10+ year in a similar hands-on Architecture role
  • Financial services experience is highly sought after
  • Extensive experience in working with third party solution providers with a background in systems integration and migrations
  • Prior experience of having established or significantly contributed towards the establishment of an Enterprise Architecture function within an organisation
  • Strong technical background with a balanced understanding of Business systems and processes as well as IT, Data and Information Security, Applications etc
  • Advanced strategy and planning experience with very strong documentation experience, includes proven experience in developing enterprise level reference models, standards and architectures including advice on transition and lifecycle management planning
  • Certified in an appropriate architecture framework eg: TOGAF
