Senior Business Analyst | Superannuation

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who is looking to take that next step forward into more of a Delivery Lead role, combining your Business Analyst skills with Project Management & Delivery Lead capabilities. You would be joining a small delivery function within a superannuation fund to help drive strategic initiatives across the organisation.

Working in a delivery stream as part of a wider portfolio, you will be support Senior Managers in full end to end strategic initiatives, from ideation and concept right through to delivery. 

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong a business analysis background who potentially wants to step up into a more delivery focused role.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Work in collaboration with front office teams to drive strategic initiatives from discovery through to implementation (end-to-end), subsequently supporting the co-ordination and delivery of BAU initiatives
- Hold workshops with senior stakeholder and executives to understand and gather requirements, documenting business cases
- Provide gap analysis and identification, proposing refinements and improvements, automating processes where possible to support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives
- Produce and manage respective project control plans; scope, financial position and resource requirements including ongoing reporting, accurately reflecting the current status of the projects and related risk
- Schedule and run standups, project groups (as required, dependent on project) to ensure appropriate governance checkpoints and audit requirements are met 

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Business Analyst
- Experience working within superannuation or wealth/ funds management 
- Strong understanding and application of project, risk management and change management practices, performing the role across the End to End SDLC
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills across all levels of the business
- Demonstrated ability to adapt methodology/approach in accordance with project needs while meeting requirements e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Prince 2
- Be critical thinker who uses their evaluation and analytical skills to recognise problems, identify opportunities and create innovative solutions
