Agile Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner to join a small but scaling team in the fintech space, helping the organisation to achieve it's goal of being a global technology innovator and to help build the best possible product. The role will work cross functionally across business, operations and technology to help make the product and user experience (UX) fantastic.

This role would potentially suit a Business Analyst who has experience working with SaaS products in the fintech space. The company are looking for candidates that want to grow and evolve with the organisation offering some great incentives, both financially and career development opportunities. You will get the opportunity to work on a greenfield project in a DevOps environment with access to all of latest tools. 

Key responsibilities include:

- Undertake workshops to ascertain stakeholder requirements in the form of user stories to be arranged on a roadmap and enabling further development of the product
- Support Leads to align to strategic priorities for delivery and help to maintain a product roadmap
- Responsible for the accuracy of internal development planning tools, releases, roadmap, and support testing of the platform
- Working with the Technology Team, ensure that roadmap and sprint planning systems are accurate against releases and milestones, ensuring the work items are logged and tagged appropriately against sprints and releases


  • Working on SaaS based products & platforms on either Azure or AWS
  • Involvement in creating a clear product vision & analysing metrics to determine success
  • Agile (Scrum) experience, managing product backlogs and retrospectives whilst taking part in sprint planning 
  • Knowledge of complex API components
  • Technical skills around integration an advantage (Boomi or Mulesoft)
  • Comfortable working in a small team and independently, pivoting around an evolving strategy 
  • Flexible working attitude with a willingness to roll your sleeves up and contribute to key deliverables
This is a permanent role - offices are based in Melbourne CBD, with a flexible working split between home and the office.
